Ashton’s Fish

image

#Fish on Friday is the hash tag I use on Twitter to denote a post dedicated to my Friday fish cookery courtesy of Ashton’s Fishmongers in Cardiff Market. The boys at Ashton’s are only too willing to advise on what’s fresh, seasonal and catch of the day, and are more than happy to prepare it for you in whatever way you require. All you have to do is cook it. Their website link is here

I have set myself the challenge of heading into previously uncharted waters and attempting to cook new and wonderful fish dishes, as well as recreating tried and tested favourites. All the recipes can be found either under the Search menu, by typing in the name of the fish you intend to cook, or by browsing through the recipes listed under the Recipe category on the menu bar.

Below are links to the most recent recipes I have cooked, using a wide variety of fresh and frozen fish, all generously supplied by Ashtons. Why not give them a go for yourself? Please let me know how they work out.
